Regular Newsletters

Hi GG guys.

Are there any plans to put in place regular newsletters to everyone who has registered since day one about releases, community blogs worth mentioning and up and coming teasers?

Not everyone can get on the GG site, or may not have noticed it's up since the welcoming news of a return - I can't recall seeing one for the latest newsletters for the 1.1 final release yet.

Personally it would be great to see the forums, and blogs more active.

Also it would be great to see whos online, and what thread they are currently viewing so that others can participate. Plus highlight the staff members online, even if they are just logged in. Having a staff presence will help people feel at home. At the moment, you kind of feel all alone on the site, when interaction with others will help keep things active.

Yep, we're definitely looking into what we can do to bring back the old newsletters and have them be on a regular basis and have useful info.

I like the idea of an online status widget or maybe something on the name badge that shows it. I'll pass that one on.
