I'm sure that many of you already know, but Torque 3D 1.1 is out. Eric has posted the blog here and the changelog is here. I also wanted to let you all know about our new Facebook group, our YouTube Channel, and our Twitter feed. So share the love!

Make sure Toolbox is not running. I ran into that.

EDIT:
Also, do you know where it is failing? Which file, etc?

I would do what David mentions as well as make sure your antivirus software is turned off when installing, and use a registry cleaner before installing just to be safe

Solved. Something was limiting my comp from running so many files, had to edit the config to reset the amount. Dont know how it got set so low, but its all fixed now and installing as we speak. Thanks for the help guys, cant wait to try it!

[edit] David, it was failing on almost every file, hah. Thats when i figured it wasnt you guys and it was my comp. Mostly failing on the deletedsos, prefs, etc.. pretty much all the bats and all the exe's. installed fine now though, thanks again!

Hate to be a killjoy; but I can't import SketchUp (KMZ) models. Consistently crashes. Gets as far as generating the dts & the <model>.cs file, does not extract any texture files or generate the materials.cs.

Tried this on a new project, importing several KMZ models that imported fine on Preview 1.1.

I am now reverting to Preview 1.1 as I am totally stuck.

(If anyone can point me at the CPP fix for the incorrect rendering of colours that is on Preview 1.1 & fixed in 1.1; I'd appreciate it, so I can then merge that fix back into Preview 1.1 - that's the only fix I need).

The SketchUp importing has been fixed in 1.2.
