Unavailable/Error/Using Cache etc.

It seems that late at night (when I do my side project work, and need this site the most) everything goes to crap on the website. Forum searches fail, posts don't load (Application Error message). Half the time the site is completely unresponsive and then tries to load a cached version of the site. During the day, everything seems fine. It's not my internet connection, every other site I visit works fine. Anyone else noticing this? Sorry if this has been mentioned already. I'd search the forums for similar topics, but, well... see above. ;)

Yes, we did have a blip last night. The web team is working through our provider issues and the caching engine.

@David: The blip last night was a particularly bad one -- couple of hours. There was a noticeable improvement in recent weeks in regards to the random not-available problems, yet the daily/nightly (~4am eastern) offline errors are a concern in that they still persist.

Yeah, last night was actually a separate issue. The offline errors are an ongoing problem that we are working with our provider on.

GG site is down for me in the UK between 8am and 10am GMT on a daily basis. Backups running, or just over usage? Blank page most of the time.
