Is Torque X 2D what I need?

Hello all,
I am somewhat knowledgeable, when it comes to code, and creating game content...
I am by no means an advanced game developer, but I want to make a 2d card game,
with a user interface that multiple people can play online.

With minimal knowledge, is this possible?, and if so is this the engine for me?
Also If I purchase the TX2D client will I be able to get support in my project on
this site, for instance, on the forums?

If you want to develop your game for Xbox360 then yes, TX2D is for you. Otherwise I would suggest another engine, especially if you want to support online play on windows.
