Is there anyway to exclude .dts files

Hi everyone,
I bought a model package with .dts format files (from 3drt) and used those models for a game. However, in the license of the model package, it is said that in case I want to release the game, I can not use native format which includes the .dts format. Therefore, may I ask is there anyway to work around this problem ? Thank you :)

P.S: I also think it's strange that I cannot use .dts format, maybe I should try to email 3DRT to ask about the license.

Thanks E.B. for your reply, I post here because I think maybe there is some ways to export / release the game without .dts (like the package function without *.cs file), with your suggestion I will post this question in the EULA section.P.S: I also think it's strange that I cannot use .dts format, maybe I should try to email 3DRT to ask about the license.

I think the intention of the EULA is to keep the 'Source' files...as EB indicates[.max...etc...] non shippable with release. Those formats give you 'editable' content...you can edit the files and export.
To not allow for the 'source' files to ship with release is quite 'standard' practice.
It's ridiculous to not allow the DTS binaries to ship with product...it's what they're for, afterall! ;)....

I believe you are fine releasing with DTS models, but I would strongly recommend passing this by the 3DRT guys. They should be able to quickly and easily answer this.

Casually speaking and not meant as advice:
Native refers to a format that is readily opened for edit & used by an application.
examples: .max, .mb, .obj, etc.
DTS is a binary used for the Torque engines. The DTS format files should be considered as safe to use since they are not native to a specific cad tool. ..but then again, please post the section of that EULA.
