Preview - Custom Ai/Pathfinding - Player_UpdatePos Going Bonkers

Anyone using custom Ai/pathfinding and noticing a massive hit due to Player_UpdatePos going bonkers?
Expected 30+ fps, got 0.7 ...

Profiling appears to confirm that Player_UpdatePos is the culprit ... but I'm baffled as to how or why ...

The exact same mission ported from B3 to Preview.

1.1 Beta 3
0.127   0.405    15429 Player_UpdatePos
FPS 30-40

1.1 Preview
80.524  80.689    10739 Player_UpdatePos
FPS 0.7

Becomes more noticeable the more Ai there are ... but the Ai don't actually have to be doing anything, commenting out their thought process (and thus disabling any attempts at movement or pathfinding) doesn't lessen calls to Player_UpdatePos.

Okay this is a bug and not me, and I can replicate it in stock. I'll write up a proper bug report after din-dins. wanders off to eat before passing out
