Hey my name I cevion and I am a novice to programming but I do have some knowledge of c# and c++. I am trying to develop a tekken or dead or alive type of game for the 360 and I have some thing I need help with and understanding. First of all I got my game ideas down like the story and characters but the I run into the problem of figuring out these things.
1. Can torque x 3d be used to create fighting game for the xbox 360?
2. How do I setup torque x 3d to an fighting type of engine?
3. What kind of program to use to make the charactes and stages for the game?
4. How to put together the character animations?
Im sorry if this isn't the right area to post this but I just really needed to no these things before I purchase this career starting program and another thing if anyone have or know of any tutorials that will help me understand or create a fighting game my thanks in advance

If you are looking for a preset, then there is no direct preset for that, as far as I know yet.
I often refer to preset packages that will help beginners or Artists to get things done, like the Guide Bot. (Check ou the effectors)
2. See answer to point 1.
3. For the models you can use any 3D-Modeling tool, e.g. Blender 3D. You can also use Character Packs for the beginning or prototyping.
4. There are many tutorials on character animation. And there are of course animation pack as well.
Well it won't be easy, but it's definitely possible to achieve that with Torque3D/X.
