Quick question about apple developer registration...

So far Im getting more answers from this torque community than any other site ive been on. Thanks thanks for that everyone. It means a lot.

On to my question... I know this is going to sound extremely basic but when I went to register for the apple dev license its requesting a company/organization name. Well, I dont have a registered company right now. I have a name for it, but its just that, a name. Anybody know what I should do? Can I skip that part and fill it in when I do have an LLC?

It's not that important. If you register as an individual, your name is displayed in the app stores. If you register as a team leader/company, that company name is shown. I don't know the local laws for your area, but here I can register a business for free, which basically was a waste of precious seconds as Apple never asked for those details :)

If you're a solo developer, just register as that and you'll be fine. It's not a requirement for a generic TLD (.com, .org, .net) to have a registered business either.

ok cool. Im looking at games in that app store now and I guess that is a feasible option.
