Proving that I have these products...

This is his first ever post, and I and indeed anyone can now see by
clicking his name what products he owns.
Perhaps he is needing to prove this ownership to someone before
they share code ??
Perhaps he can enlighten us hehe.

Hewster is correct in that I'm trying to get the Torque CEV from Pino (http://www.garagegames.com/account/profile/174861) and part of the requirement for being granted access is to prove that I own the Torque X products (http://torquecev.com/joining-the-cev/). Initially I looked to see if there was a member directory in which I would be listed but, being unfamiliar with the site, I didn't find such and decided that posting a thread would provide the needed proof.
deepscratch's response with its sarcasm and apparent incredularity at my ignorance of appropriate protocol is quite unhelpful and I believe unwarranted. If this is a community that has any interest in growing its membership, in encouraging forum discussion, and in passing on its knowledge and experience to others, then responses such as these are not the way to go about it. Or perhaps that's not the preferred culture and ethos?

My apologies. I didn't make my post purpose clear and I am sorry if I have irritated or offended anyone as a result. People here tend to be brutally frank, had the intent been to truly put you down for a minor error i'm sure you'd have noticed the difference :)

well... perhaps a posting in the can i get access to CEV 4 might have been more useful or even in the torque x forum, i also think you should maybe just take humour in the deepscratch's post at face value. Hey Tony, usually people post on a CEV related thread, so that I get the email notification as well ;) Anyhow... processing your request right now!
Cheers,
Pino
