Mouse and buttons problems

by Matthew Shrewsbury · in Torque X 2D · 03/19/2011 (2:21 pm) · 3 replies

Hello everyone, I just got Torque 2D last night and I have noticed a minor problem with the development User interface. When I try to work on a project I have to aim the mouse pointed slightly above the button / option or anything in general. I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and if so there is a fix for it?

This is not a big big deal it is more of an annoyance and takes some time to get myself adjusted to this.

Example of the issue is if I want to click the option Apply, I would have to click the option several pixels above the button. So it looks as if I’m not clicking the command at all.

ATI card? I don't know much about T2D but I know myself and quite a few other people with ATI cards had the same problem with Constructor. It's been a while, but I think a clean driver update resolved the problem for most.

You are correct about the video card. I have an ATI HD 5700 series video card. I just updated my drives and gave it a try and it did not clear up the issue. It not a major issue for me just a minor annoyance. Other than that every other aspect of the engine I love.

Thank you very much for the information into the right direction

I stand corrected; the problem resolved itself about 30 minutes after I loaded the new ATI drives. Maybe it just took a little while for everything to register. I just came back to my learning project and noticed that all the mouse and clicks where they where suppose to be. Thank you very much for the help on that one.
