Confused about iTorque 2D and TGB

I am interested in developing games for iphone/ipad so I purchased iTorque 2D and when I went to download there was iTorque 2D (1.4.1) and Torque Game Builder (1.7.5). (Mac OS X)
I installed iTorque 2D (1.4.1) and while going through tutorials (both online and offline) I see a lot of discrepancies like missing sample projects and files. Basically, I can't find tutorial files mentioned in the tutorial inside the iTorque 2D folder. Also, some functions like importing resources for the fish project doesn't exist in iTorque 2D?
So, what is the difference between iTorque 2D and Torque Game Builder? Is iTorque 2D for building iOs games and TGB for OSX games? Also, where can I find iTorque 2D tutorials? Am I supposed to use both apps to build games?
Sorry for asking too many questions but after playing around with iTorque 2D for several hours it's becoming frustrating. If someone could please provide a work process I would appreciate it.
Thanks!

Followup note: I have even created a FAQ answer that addresses the confusion over TGB, T2D and iT2D. You can read the new FAQ here: Official FAQ. I will continue to add to the FAQ section, so if you have any suggestions I am all ears.

What threw me off was TGB having a version number of 1.7.5 which make it seem like it's a newer version than iTorque 2D.
So when can I expect to see the new docs for iTorque 2D? I can't wait to jump into this!
