Acquire/Reaquire Tribes

Hi,
Is it possible that GarageGames could please become owners of Tribes?? I seriously do not want to see it being recreated into an MMO piece of crap by some unheard of company (hirez studios). What happened to PlayTribes?? Who the hell, in their right mind would have sold Tribes if they owned the series? Thanks for your time.

The nubs at Hi-Rez announce Tribes: Ascend which isn't an MMO. I recommend lurking around Tribal War for information and speculation.

Hi-Rez is just up the road from me... they seem to be doing a good job with it. Was lucky enough to catch a public viewing a month or so ago. It comes closer to catching the old Tribes feel that Tribes:Vengeance and Legions (InstantAction's Tribes clone) failed so horribly at. It's fast. It's beautiful. But still a bit dumbed down from what an old school Tribes fanatic (ie, Starsiege Tribes) would desire.

There will be better out there than Hi Rez's attempts I imagine.
