Question before purchase

Hello Phillip and Everyone!
I deciding to buy TGB Platformer Kit Pro, but I have question regarding to this.
I'm planning to create something like digger genre game, kit already includes features which I'm planning to use, like ladders, platforms, collectable items, but will be possible (may be with modifications to code) make kit to serve my need, in my case this's digging process (like destroying specific tile during runtime) :), and what approx. amount of modification will be needed?
