I'm new to Torque so need a little advise, which platform is better to start learning Torque 3d on, Windows XP or Windows 7 64?
Thanks

as long as it's a recent Windows (XP, Vista, 7) it'll work fine regardless. I've experienced zero problems on x32 and x64 versions.

hi all i am new to torque3d....
does anyone get the "MSVCP100.DLL is mising message" ? i have a fresh install of win7 x64, and i have downloaded and installed the C++ visualstudio redistributeable package for x64 and rebooted and i still keep getting this message. i am running windows in virtualbox, as i cannot seem to find a ubuntu 12.04 binary version of Torque3d or any source code which compiles for it. - which would be more preferable then using windows, as i am wanting to make games for linux.
any suggestions on how to get around this error message, or a place i can get a fully functioning linux binary for torque?
thanks
