iTorque 2D System Requirements

Hello,

I'm interested in purchasing iTorque 2D, but I'm a little nervous that my Intel Mac Mini doesn't meet the video card requirement. It has an Intel GMA 950, not nVidia or ATI.

I know the Intel chipsets are basically junk, poor T&L and shader performance, but I haven't really had any issues with regular TGB on this machine.

Has anyone run iTorque 2D on the Intel GMA 950 or know if there are differences between iTGB and TGB that might cause the iOS version not to run on my Mac Mini?

Thanks,
-Greg

Your Mac will be fine as long as it can run Snow Leopard. The video card on the Mac doesn't matter at all since you're building for a device. The simulator included with Xcode is not an emulator, and it actually uses software OpenGL ES now, according to reports. The tools will run, and they'll run OK. I've used a GMA mini for TGB in the past without problems :)

If anything, the iT2D editor might actually run better.

Hi Ronny,

Thanks for the quick response. That sounds promising. Thanks.
