Finding up to date tutorials

by joe modzeleski · in Torque X 2D · 02/27/2011 (9:24 am) · 2 replies

Hey, am I just stupid, or is it really, REALLY hard to find tutorials for Torque X 2D ? I search everywhere, and the very few I find are so outdated that nothing is helping me at all. Can anyone point me in the direction of some good, current tutorials ? I'm trying to do simple stuff like this http://tdn.garagegames.com/wiki/TGB/Tutorials/Platformer/Setup

but I already hit a snag with that tutorial not matching the current version of Torque X.

Your snag would be because TGB and TX are different products, you need to find the official TX documentation, which has 7 of the best tutorials you will ever need. If you get a good TX install, they should be right there, but first you need to install TX Hoddie's Resource is a good way to figure out how to install for both 3.1 and 4.0, so you can have the documentation which is still good from 3.1, and a proper 4.0 install to publish your games on the 360
