I am wondering why you are not hiring/looking-for a pro artist that has a technical background.

A "Technical Artist".

( I have details of why at the ready if anyone asks...I am sure you guys already know that :P )

Plus we hired a creative director to oversee all the artwork as well as create new content. That's two artists we brought on with knowledge of game engine technology.
