I stumbled here while I was searching in Google for presets.. you know how google is.. anyway, I followed the link to see what Messaiah was all about, I was sold for just $40, and it works with Modo, Maya, 3DMAX, SoftImage XSI, LightWave, and Cinema 4D.
If you buy the pro version now for $40 ($1195 Value).. you'll receive the license when pmG has had enough interested people that purchase. They are almost there!

Thank you for showing me that thread. I wouldn't have posted thisd one had I known. But in my defense ( lol ).. I post full detail that they have a goal to reach and you get the license when that goal is reached.
I also state more clearly what the package is meant for.
I personally will be getting this, even if I have to pay full price.
But If i can get this for less, then why not bring some friends along with me that can also use a great package deal like this?

Yeah, I fully support that line of thinking, and I myself am showing the thread to people all the time. I'm not getting the software, though! The Mac version is a Wine/CrossOver port, and the demo doesn't run. Plus I think I have the software *I* will be needing in that particular field. Very useful for actual artists and modellers, though ;)

Hmm....when the offer seems too good to be true, it usually is too good too be true, why would they fling out software that expensive at that ridiculously low price?

Maybe they want to challenge the other companies by getting people to pay for licences, rather than use pirated software...

it's a good marketing strategy for one (not sure how many units sold are behind that green progress bar) but if it's just a small team developing it, then bringing in $10 / $40 x 5000 units sold is your salaries paid for the next few years while you develop the next version and a good way of building up a community.

A silly thing is that the special works on your system time...so I have 55 minutes left, but if I turn my clock back a 4 hours, I have 4:55 left..goofy.
