I created a map with Torque Constructor and then whe I go to export it, some problem window pops up saying there is a problem with the (map2dif_puls.exe). And It's not telling what to do to fix the problem, so I can export my maps that I create. Please help!

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is availble.

Have you tried exporting directly to DIF (Constructor's native export) instead of the map2dif wackiness?

Dif was for TGE and TGEA and it's a piece of crap format.

Why are you bothering with Difs ?Dif was for TGE and TGEA and it's a piece of crap format.

First two things to check is whats the total face/brush count of the map, is it a large map? also check your portal's are correctly lined up if you are using any. another time ive seen it crash like that is when messing around with the map file lighting properties.

No I have only made simple maps, stupit stuff ( Towers, walls, small house's. To put on my map later. No portal's and not alot of brush files. And I'v try to export in every way possable, it's starting to drive me crazy I want to start building my game and this is throwing a big bone in the mix.

Though I'm going to have to second eb on this and say it'd be best to drop Constructor and the DIF format all together and just use dts.

Are you using detail brushes in the proper places? Too many structural brushes can cause the export to crash (though I think it may give a proper error message). Is there any console output log in Constructor's folder?Though I'm going to have to second eb on this and say it'd be best to drop Constructor and the DIF format all together and just use dts.

How and where do I get or download (dts), and what is it? A will Constructor run that program, and allow to export the maps I make into Torque 3D? I'v tryed smaller map with less stuff and it works but if I continue to do that it's going to take forever to build a town or city. Because if I make it to detailed that's when it crashes.

Thanks for the link didn't know that they had different 3D building programs.I'll check them out, and whatever "RTFM" means, don't know and don't care.
