Can I use the animation packs right away with torque 3D, If I use the Universal AI and torque 3D with the mega pack I know they will have the same weapons but will the animations change and work without any additional software.

I believe the UAI kit is a scripting solution to AI player control. The animation Mega Pack is a library of binary DSQ files that work on the Biped[KORK] figure and the ACK line of figures. I don't believe any 'additional' software is needed, merely some editing of TSShapeConstructor scripts to load the DSQ files into the proper DTS shapes...

And it comes with KORK, just need to know before I spend a lot of money. And does it come with this info "novice"?

'KORK' is a supplied DTS shape with the SDK.....comes with the engine.
'SpaceKORK' is a supplied DTS shape with the SDK.
'ForgeSoldier' is a supplied DTS shape with the SDK[maybe, not sure if stil is].
'BoomBot' is a supplied DTS shape with the SDK.
'ElfGirl' is a supplied DTS shape with the SDK.
'Gideon' is a supplied DTS shape with the SDK.
We, at BAG, supply DSQ binaries for the it[KORK Biped rig].....

We, at BAG, supply DTS shapes and DSQ binaries for our ACK series of figures.

If you have the T3D SDK...you have enough DTS shapes, included, to purchase the megaPack...check the images in our Product Page...you can see the 'cast' of Torque in the background.

NB: BoomBot.dts is not a stand BIPED figure! and the MegaPack will not work with that single particular figure.

From your profile, you are a SDK T3D Studo license assignee....the SDK, is the entire Source code, artwork, and scripts that run the Demo's, and Example FPS games, and the Driving game/mod; so yes...grep for .DTS in your 'Torque' folder, you'll find them all!

I actually only have the studio and at this time and do not have the source code, so that is why I asked about the SDK. I am just asking these questions because their is chance to own a 1000 dollar engine for a tenth of the cost, that why I can edit the animation combined with the UAI and start making games.

Thanks for your answers though thats what I wanted to know.

Correct, you do not need Source code to edit/MOD art assets!

Good luck! The Official Documentation is a great place to start, especially the Artist Guide.

Now, once you've gotten 'waist deep', next read up on some Scripting that deals very specifically with working the formats inside the engine, imagine that!

Do you know any royalty restrictions with the software by chance?
