Hi all first off a big WELCOME BACK GarageGames...
now here is my problem.
I live in the UK not sure if this is anything to do with it,
I am having massive difficulty with the website.
your landing page says 'Please Update and Clear Your DNS!'
most of your other pages are unaccessable with eather an
'Oops! This link appears to be broken.' refreshing the page repeatadly sometimes gets a text only version of the page up, hence here I am hoping this comment posts. or
404 'The webpage cannot be found'
now is this just me? I have tried on 3 different computers in 2 different locations and its the same,
have tried disabling all anti virus & anti spyware software have tried waiting, Its been 5 or 6 days now.
Is there something I can do at my end?
Is it a known error, I know you said you where having some problems from a comment I managed to read somewhere on some other site.
Some other people seem to be able to get to your site as there posting comments and resources.
I hope this posts, I'll be spamming refresh on this page to see if It does. Thats if it posts..

Just been trying to pin down when this accured, don't think I have been able to get on the site properly since definately the 19th (I missed the GarageGames returns blog)
usualy log in every day to check on any news etc. and the last blog I read was the 'WIP basic lvl testing'blog on the 18th.
I was getting worried that something bad had happened so I started reading other sites info on Torque and was much relieved when I read the Welcome Back info :-)

What you're seeing is unfortunately almost entirely reliant upon your ISP updating their DNS. Some providers take longer than others, though they should have done it by now. If flushing the DNS doesn't work then the workaround while waiting for your ISP to update is to edit your hosts file.

Have you followed the instructions on the DNS page to flush your DNS yet? Do all the computers you've tried it on use the same ISP? Are you posting via smartphone or from a location with a different ISP?What you're seeing is unfortunately almost entirely reliant upon your ISP updating their DNS. *removed hosts file changes to avoid future confusion*
As for your Kindle, yeah I don't know what to tell you for that one. I'm not familiar with browsing via Kindle at all.

That makes sense. We had the same issues ourselves when we pushed the site waiting for Cox to update but we could access it via our phones just fine.*removed hosts file changes to avoid future confusion*

You shouldn't need to add any host information now. In fact, it will definitely cause problems if you do since GG has changed hosts since this topic was posted in 2011.

@Tobias
If you made any changes to your hosts file then remove them. There shouldn't be any issues with images now.

Oh yeah, good catch David. Removing that bit from my old post so no one else comes across the thread and does that. Might even hide the thread later too.@Tobias
