TDN login broken

#1 @Don - Yeah, this was noticed the day after we switched servers. At first the entire site was down, but we managed to at least restore that. We are working feverishly to get login working again.

#2 That's great, I have some students in the middle of projects that could really use the access.

#3 TDN is now back online. You should be able to login and access the articles.

#5 Hmm. Am I the only one getting a re-direct error when I try to pull up http://tdn.garagegames.com ?

"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

When I go to http://tdn.torquepowered.com I get the initial TDN welcome screen but the login screens all error out with broken redirect messages.

#6 No, I just don't think this thread got updated. There's something like 3 or 4 TDN threads that have been running for a while and a couple got overlooked.

TDN started having login problems yesterday. Our web dev has a much higher priority task he's working on currently though, so he won't be able to get to it until he finishes that task. It is the next highest priority task on his list though.

#7 Verified, my Firefox does it too. My main browser is Google Chrome, I do web development so I have a selection of browsers to choose from. I highly recommend Chrome.

#8 This redirect issue affects all browsers.

Might be related to the new host, which does some cache magic to the site.

#11 heh, crache magic. I was on it during the past week so I know its not going away at all. Just some of the glitches to be expected with a massive changeover of dns. I have more than enough things to keep me busy until its back up and running, :)
