Windows 7 + Torque 2D

Is there a way I can get Torque Game Builder to work in Windows 7? I am having problems exactly the same as this one:

but his fixes just don't work for me.

Just confirm you've got the latest drivers and that the gadget bar is 100% disabled.

TGB works fine on 7 I've used it on several PCs of various configs, if you've got ATI or intel gfx their drivers just suck, as a programmer, a year ago I couldn't even write one page of basic implementation before I hit a bug in their drivers.

Done and still have the same problem, I have even put it in windows classic mode and get the same problem.
