Good morning everyone I just wanted some peoples opinion on the interface that I have setup for my game:

This is just a mock up for the interface for my game I've been working on. Here we have the Old Traditional RPG Face and Dialog box. Also a radar compass. The two meters represent Radar scan charge and the transportation gas meter.
NOTE: THE CHARACTERS USED HERE I USED FOR FILLER I DO NOT OWN THEM NOR DID I DRAW THEM.

well the radars size is because its going to be used heavily as to hunt and scan for treasure. track monster movements, guard patrols, and etc. Is it really factory standard for it being on the left? I thought I've seem multiple layouts with it moved in many places. Or is it a FPS kinda thing? Cause that might be sure I'd have to look into it more.

It's probably just an FPS thing ... I wouldn't worry about it.

I like the interface but I think me too the radar is a bit oversized compared to the other elements... What about combine side by side the curved arc with the radar? This way you save some space on the screen for maybe something else.

In GuildWars radar/map is per default on the top-right corner...I like the interface but I think me too the radar is a bit oversized compared to the other elements... Radar seems a little big compared to everything else - and meters seem a little thin. Aesthetically I do like the little curved arc at the top right, nice change from just hard edged rectangles.
It does seem a bit lopsided in general ... though ... that might entirely be because of the radar. Am I the only person who thinks radars should be on the left hand side? Possibly ... but then that'd upset the rest of the design ...
