Splash screen is showing some random noise for a few seconds

nothing much, just random noise.. I've tried it on two resolution 640X480 tvs, with pngs and jpgs ranging from 1280X720, to 640X480 itself, and no dice still.. anyone else experience this when using GUISplash?
