Torque X was already dropped a while back, so it's not a huge changes for us in that regard.

Yeah, still, I'd like to see some development to continue to grow the CEV group of engineers at least. Without the TP website, we'll have no-where to congregate and recruit more people to work on the CEV, or to push TX into 5.0, besides what we have.

Bah, this community has held together quite well. All we need is a simple forum somewhere and make sure everyone knows about it before they shut the page down. I have no worries for TX. CEV is coming along great (Thanks to the guys working on it).

We've already been left behind when they end of lifed TX and we're still going :D.

As far as trying to get more users we'll have to see what the policy will be for distributing the source to people who would like to use the CEV when the company is gone. Unless we just give them the binary version and don't give access to the source.

Time will tell all.

Does the current CEV run on XNA 4.0? How do I obtain it? I do have TX Source versions.

Yeah, a backup forum is probably a good idea. Hopefully it won't be needed.

I think www.makeforum.org/ is a free and its not a bad one, very customizable.

@Andy The CEV is currently being ported to XNA 4.0 by the best team of community coders ;-)

You need to get hold of Pino to ask for access.www.torquepowered.com/account/profile/174861

I hope they don't close the website and the forums don't disappear. There is a lot of information on here.

We all have to thank Pino and friends for porting TX to 4.0. :D
