Hi
I was trying to follow the tutorial on adding skymaps, and whenever I click to add on a cube face to add a PNG the World Editor crashes.
Any solutions?

No, they are JPG's, not PNG's, they all are 512x512.

Make sure they're not progressive jpg's. The Mac jpeg lib has crashed on them consistently.Edit: damn phone autocorrected for the wrong grammar!

Send me one of the trouble images and I'll see if I can get some time to work with 1.0.1 on my Mac at home this week.

Even if you get to put your jpeg files in your skybox, you won't see them.Skybox is broken on Mac : www.torquepowered.com/community/forums/viewthread/102677.

Thanks, Nicolas! I had forgotten that it was an issue that was fixed in the 1.1 betas since it was quite an old one.

The windows betas are available to Professional licensees. The Mac version is still in progress at this time.

I'm going to have a sync-up Friday and see if there is anything I can talk about on that front.

Is the PNG a power of two image? I've seen PNG headers get munged, but running it through optipng will clean them up.
