Heya, Chu's Dynasty is in playtest!
This game is currently in Beta. Sounds and music are unfinished. Our cinematic currently do not have any sound! Box art is temp. we will be polishing the art and gameplay till mid/end December when we plan to release.
Hopeing to get some early feedback and find any bugs asap though I'm sure the change to XNA 4.0 will cause a bunch more.
I wanted to get this up so I can collect feedback while I work on the XNA 4.0 engine update.

I played for about an hour earlier today, and will give it another hour or so tonight. So far I have only noticed a couple things and have a few suggestions. I will have my feedback submitted tonight or tomorrow.Its nearly solid though, great job!

Talk about bad luck. But seriously this is a really good game and I wish you all the best! Let me know when it goes into review. Hopefully we can get this out ASAP :)

Wow. This looks awesome. Great work. Looks really cool! Really gives me something to shoot for in terms of polish for the platform. This will seem stupid, but how can I playtest it?The link to the forums is down.

Also I'm worried people might be less apt to buy indie games when they have new AAA titles to play. Does anyone know the sales statistics for indie games based on season?

I was thinking about that. But I wonder if it would help or hurt being that we don't have the marketing budget to compete with the bigger releases. Well it just makes sense, North Americans Spend ALOT of money during that season. If you get on the service as a new release sometime in december, your chances of a lot of people downloading and playing are much higher than January. I think the sweetspot is Dec 18-31. During that time people who go to school are out and have nothing to do. And there will be people wanting to play your game.

Mathew, will you be doing more work on Heta, I had trouble beating Noah. Any tips for her beating him?

Heta Fights Noah best at range so try to keep him away. use jumping fireballs alot and regular fireballs at long range (outside his lunge range). Also when you can use A to get in for a quick poke. If you connect with Y you can then hit B right after to combo into a fireball.
A very high damage combo with heta (if you can land it) is (start when jumping) Down + Y then when that hits Down +X, Y (on ground), B.
Overall though you need to use fireballs to be aggressive and react to his attacks. Also try using your time power to set up traps.

We are still working on balance. I have another round of playtesting with a pro Street fighter player.
