Running the game minimizes the screen

Am in the process of learning Torque2d using the demo version. I've no issue using the sprites and particles but when i reached the collission tutorial, that's when i started having a problem. I can't seem to run the game. Whenever I click Project>Run game OR press the Play Scene button, my TGB window just goes to my dock. I tried running the .t2d samples, it won't run. Help, please?
