I am following this "how to" guide on setting up an object with collision and all.
http://www.atagar.com/misc/dtsExporterGuide/
In the guide it wants me to parent the empty to the model.
Right now i have the empty hooked up to where I can grab and move it and the model moves along with the empty. Do i have them hooked up right
""1.Give your model an empty parent called "DetailX".
The 'X' is the detail level size, meaning the display height (in pixels) above which those details will be shown. For instance if your shape is 32 pixels tall on the screen (or taller), the Detail32 detail level will be drawn. If it goes above 50 pixels in height and a Detail50 detail level is present, then that detail level will be drawn instead.
•Hit the space bar and select Add > Empty.
•Press F9 to get the "Link and Materials" in the button window, and change the name to "Detail32" (or whatever detail level you want).
•Make the detail object the parent of your model. An explanation can be found here.""
