T3D 1.1 beta 3 - Decals not rendering on Forest objects - CONFIRMED

Forest Editor Objects

Issue
Forest Editor Objects do not hold decals from bullets/projectiles.

Repeat
Make a forest object and shoot it, no decal will appear on the forest object. Take the same object as a standard mesh (not created via forest) and the decal will appear when it is shot.

Note
Not sure if this is because of a missing typemask for decals (ForestObjectType) or whether it's been left like this on purpose ... (performance considerations etc)

I just talked to Matt about this. It seems that decal rendering was never intended one way or the other for Forests, so it's been added as a Feature Request.

Not necessarily a request, I just couldn't remember if they'd been intended to work or not.

Happy either way.
