In this Torque blog Blog Link(iPhone updates and meet the new team) we were introduced to the new iPhone team. What happened to them? Are they still working on iTGB or has other people taken over?
Can someone on the Torque team comment on this?

Advantage of being a hobbyist is that I can change without losing money. Being a developer has the down side of once you waste money on crap you are stuck with crap and out of the money too. You can email and post all you want about their short comings or stuff that has fallen through the cracks, but it won't change the matter of fact that GG doesn't answer you.

@Tony Richards - I may be only a hobbyist, but I would expect a developer that is spending money to do research into the engines and software that they plan to use. Including whether they are fully maintained and if the company is still supporting it or are answering support for it. That is the one thing they drilled into my head in college. Do you research, find an engine with source code and support that you want or design your own. I mean if only two guys answer from a whole team then any smart dev would start looking for the next best thing, not pay $500 or whatever to get an engine from said company. I know one of the arguments that was made on behalf of the price was "Flash costs $700 so we should also be in that price range." I would say that flash works. Look at the flash thread. I like IA and feel for them. They have inherited a hole that is going to be hard to dig out of.
All their products are still based on 10 year old legacy products, outside of TX. And they are semi-abandoning that one because it's not making money.

@Marc I agree with you totally, $750 is a pretty premium investment that we have made. Compared to what else is available it puts iTGB as one of the most expensive choices out there. I would expect that iTGB at least be better than free solutions.I know one of the arguments that was made on behalf of the price was "Flash costs $700 so we should also be in that price range." you know, until 2010 or alike, non licensees didn't have the chance to see this board at all so research meant evaluating whats there and that would for most be the TGB trial which gives you a rather wrong signal cause it indicates that it works, which holds for TGB but not iTGB

I think there is a lot of talent in the community, and even if it's just a small number of capable people, there are some very capable people on here who have respect for each other. Those are the ingredients to success, so I'm surprised it hasn't happened already.
I definitely intend to stick around on here till I have my game published. After that, once I've extracted some revenue, I intend to publish my game source on here, as I would like to publish my experiences and get more ivolved in teaching in the long term.
