Datablock editor ShapeBaseImage Rotation and offset doesn't seem to work

I wonder if anybody is experiencing the same problem.
I have made a model of a medieval shield (with the datablocks for the shapeBase and the shapeBaseImage) and added a mountPoint in shape editor (because somehow the mountPoint isn't exported to the DTS possibly a config-file problem. Loaded a player model in the shape editor and mounted this shield. It is then mounted in the right position, but the orientation is completely wrong.
Now in the datablock editor I open up the shields shapeBaseImage datablock and modified the offset and the rotation. Saved it, re-executed this and mounted the shield in the console to the player. Alas, nothing seems to have changed, the mounting position is right, but the orientation hasn't changed.
So I opened the datablock editor again. The offset values are still there, but the rotation values seems to be mixed up: the first time I set these value to "0 0 1 90", when reloaded the value displayed is "1 0 0 90"
Now I think that I've setup the model of the shield right [small]allthough not really certain[small], because in the shape editor it displays correctly.
What am I doing wrong? I hope someone can help me here or is it a bug?
I am using T3D1.1 Beta 2 on a windows xp 32 bit machine.

Setup the orientation of your mount point in your modeling program and rexport the model until its correct, don't do it in the datablock.
