Explore the Enterprise and Train to Fly Shuttle!
You can now explore part of the Enterprise and Train to Fly an Original Series Shuttle Craft in the newly released fan game for PC, created by game studio, Gambit Realm!

See our story on Hailing Frequencies, hailingfrequency.com/

Quote:We wanted every room, every deck, and all the cool control panels, medical beds, phasers, dilithium crystals and antimatter storage pods we could get.

We wanted all the turbolifts and no load time between locations and we wanted to hop in the shuttle and fly by the ship…

Give it try let us know what you think, any suggestion are appreciated

Thanks

Your intro video is great.
After updating to a newer version of DX, I was able to get into the splash screens. (you should have a copy of the dx.dll version you are using in the folder)
I cannot get into the game. It crashes just after the video splash. (you need a "skip the movie" button)

Here's the console.log

Aside from 2 missing shaders, I don't find any other problems.

Hi Mike,

I am not sure why it crashes, the only thing I see in the log that may cause an issue is your screen resolution.

Did you try setting your screen to 1024 x 768?

Also, what operating system are you on? We know that in windows 7 some time the game does not work.

When the video starts you should be able to click the bottom of the screen to skip the video.

Hi Brian,
I did try resetting the screensize to no avail.
I'm using windows xp service pack 3.
I'll try again later today and see what I can find.

Hi Mike,

Have you tried updating the video drivers.

#9
08/31/2010 (2:54 am)
Yes. I have the most up to date video and sound drivers.
I don't know why it's breaking during loading. I can use all of the t3d examples without any problems.
#10

Was it installed in the default directory, some of the AFX files are hard coded for that directory.
#11
09/02/2010 (2:33 am)
Yes. When I test somehing, I always just let the installer install it whereever it wants.
I haven't looked at the pref.cs yet to see why it's still trying to set my screen size to full screen when I have it set to windowed, but I will. I'll keep looking at this as I have time to see if I can figure out what's going on.

10/04/2010 (11:16 pm)
Hi Mike,

were you able to get the game running, if not there is an update to the game which may solve the issue.
#13
10/06/2010 (10:05 pm)
Sorry it took so long. I'be been gone.
Ok, downloaded the new demo, installed it, Shouldn't the installer check for something already installed in that folder? It didn't.

As for the game, no. It still doesn't work. Here's the console.log

If I can get some time, I'll dig into this and see what I can find. I've been a trekki since I can remember.

Hi Mike,

Have you had any luck yet?

We have spent a lot time trying to see why your copy does not work. We have over 3000 downloads and yours is the only one that does not work, so its a mystery.

We have a new version up for download. You will need to update to the latest version of Directx and possibly a new version of NVidia Physx.

Give it a try and let me know.

I never got it to work. It's probably something to due with my out dated video card.

Hi Mike,

That would do it, all I can say is do you self a favor and update the video card, it will make playing any game better and overall performance in general will go up.
