Registration Problem

Hi. Our old PC died and so I had to re-install MBG on the new one. When I try to start MBG though, the registration step fails. When I enter the Product Key, the error message is "The registration number you have entered is not valid".
I have also tried the offline registration process, but got the error "Invalid ignition key " when I used the Product Key from the My Account page as the "Ignition Key" (as described in http://www.torquepowered.com/community/forums/viewthread/85445).
So we're a bit stuck. We purchased MBG in March 2005, so is it because it's so old? Any ideas would be appreciated, as it's a favourite game.

I am also looking to refresh the key. My pc died, taking the key with it and I would like to refresh it for our new pc.
