Break points don't work anymore

Ok so yea only I can do this. Long story short I decided to add a piece of custom code to the TGB Pro source and change the icon. After doing this and finally figuring out how to recompile I'm having problems with Torsion in Debug mode. Sometimes when it launches it says "Connection to executable failed", other times it doesn't really launch but the exe stays in memory. Now, for the most part, it does launch but it completely ignores any break points I have set. I have Windows 7.

I uninstalled tgb pro several times and I also reinstalled Torsion. I have loaded up a generic project such as Blackjack with the same results as above. The compile time on the executable is 4/10/2010 so I know I'm not using my modified version. I also tried creating a new Torsion project several times.

Can anyone give me any ideas on what the hell I did and how to make it recognize break points and not get the error anymore?

Thanks for posting your resolution.

I had the same problem and it took me 45 minutes before I found your post. I don't know how much longer it would have taken me to track down the information you pointed to.
