T3D 1.1 B2 - Verve compatible?

by Jules · in Verve · 08/08/2010 (6:23 pm) · 7 replies

Hey Phillip, have you tested Verve on 1.1B2 yet, or anyone else confirm it works on this version? I've yet to implement.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Julian, I've not had time to check it out. I think there are a few massive changes to T3D, so a Verve update may be some way off unfortunately.

I'll keep everyone posted on my progress.

Thanks Phillip, appreciate your prompt reply. I'll carry on with other things in the meantime.

Not a major concern... but is there a week you're shooting for on getting an updated version out? Assuming of course you've gotten a chance to check what has been updated in T3D.

Recently, I've modified the source code of Verve to make it compilable with Torque 1.1 Beta3. ( Most of changes involves new console enum system of Torque. ) Unfortunately, when it goes to editor mode, it crashes when I try to select control points of path (with error message: "String stack popped too much in script exec").
Any suggestion?

Is there any plans for Verve to be upgraded?

I would also like to know if the Verve will be updated. I can wait for a 1.1 Final Torque version as long as I know that there are new versions coming out.

Hey guys, thanks for your patience.

Since Torque 3D is changing so dramatically between builds, it is hard for me to keep up with the time that I have for Verve. I assure you, however, that there will be a Verve release for 1.1 final.

I have a local copy of Verve working for 1.1 beta, but it definitely isn't stable enough for you to use it in your work.

Sorry for such a delay guys.

Good to hear that you are getting up to speed with 1.1 beta Phillip, hopefully it will not be too much of a task for you on the final release. Verve would be an awesome addition to our game and future games.
