Hey Torque X Community,

Just wanted to let you know that we have kicked off beta 2 and you should all see downloads in your account pages under Torque X 2D or 3D. A changelog has also been posted here.

On the 3D side the editor has scene another round of improvements in both the fixing of bugs and addressing usability issues. Notably adding and removing components should work properly assuming the components don't do anything strange. The interaction between the builder and visual studio has been improved. Also, the adding and manipulation of objects has been made more solid. We've also added a document alongside the dae2dts tool to help with that pipeline.

On 2D side of things we've fixed the particle editor to display the same in the editor as it does in the run time. That way you hopefully won't have to go redo all your particles so that they are displayed the way you want them to be. We fixed the particle crash that occurred on the 360 as well. Documentation and the editor have been updated to reflect their current revisions as well as other base fixes.

As always I'm looking for whatever feedback you guys have. I can't promise that everything can be addressed for 3.1.5 but we are taking the feedback and using it for future versions. When reporting bugs I ask that you please use the guidelines Scott posted here. Otherwise, let loose, have fun and good luck on your Torque X games.

- Derek
