What are you thinking about making? Did you already have a theme in mind? For RTS games, I think the world's your oyster as far as themes go.

I have an awesome design document. ;)
The setting is a post-nuclear earth. You have 3 battle units and 1 worker unit. Need more details, let me know.

If you want someone to take you seriously, you should post a link to your design document. You should also indicate what skill you're bring to the table. For instance, if you're an artist, that would be useful. If you're just a designer, you might have a harder time finding a programmer.

Alternatively, if you're paying actual money, you could find someone anyways. Royalties usually don't cut it, especially if all you're doing is the design.

If you're trying to make a freeware game, you might have an easier time finding help, though probably you won't wind up with the professional programmers. Even so, working on a freeware game is a good way to start out.

Personally, I'm not interested in programming an rts, but I don't think your post is enough to get anyone to program for you. No one knows if you're serious or not.

@Steven - is your post targeted at me?
If so, then here is the link to my design document w4w.dt-games.net/WFW_DD_v3.1.pdf

If not, then its cool.
