Template problems

I recently bought the games mechanics kit. When i install the program into torque 3d it works until I try to add a template, the template will not load onto the screen for any of the templates. I want to know how I can fix this problem without reloading torque or can someone tell me how to install the program correctly so that I don't have this problem.
