#1 What is Torque 3D Engine? It is a game engine, used for creating Games. The TorqueX 3D engine creates a game for XNA.

What is the diffrence between Softimage|XSI and Torque 3D? Softimage XSI is used for creating 3D artwork. You can use this artwork in your game that you can use TX3D to create.

If you are looking at the TX3D engine this is the correct forum. It's a game engine for creating games using Microsoft's XNA framework. creators.xna.com/en-US/

If you are looking for the T3D engine then you need to post in that forum.

I would suggest that you download the demo's and see how it works.

#2 So should we buy two Torque 3D or one for both of us?. - You should buy two. Henry's correct though, give the demo a try and see what you think.


Can I make a video game like Metal Gear Solid 4?, I mean great graphics + great gameplay + great videos to explain the story. - I sure hope you can. I just want to point out that this is not a "game making" software, it is an engine. I think what you have in mind is a bit too big for a team of two people. (MGS4 was made by hundreds of people with a near-limitless budget) Might I suggest starting with something smaller in mind?

#3 thnx guys,, by the way, mgs 4 was just an example, what I mean is can we make some videos and put it inside the game, like any game, some videos to explain the story, get it ?, because I don't know how to explain, and sorry for my bad english.
