Can't get GMK working (Fixed)

I just purchased the GMK, which looks really cool. I have but one problem. I can't get it to work. So far what I have done is copy files from the T3D/game folder from GMK (version 1.28 Could I be using the wrong version?) into a new project created with the binary version of T3D 1.01; I've done this twice - once copying the files by hand, the second by letting Windows 7 do the work for me. When I try to launch the game with the old .exe file, the game runs fine (except the switches, breakables, etc. don't work, so it's like the GMK wasn't completely installed, which it wasn't because the C++ changes haven't been made), and when I run the game with the new .exe file from GMK, it runs fine until I try to load the level at which point it crashes. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

In case this helps, from what I gather from the console log, the game had some trouble compiling some shaders. There seem to be at least two errors occuring, error X3013 and X3004, though that means nothing to me

I finally figured out my problem, I was using the wrong version of GMK. There was no indication of which version of Torque 3D that GMK version 1.28 was meant for. Still, with version 1.26 I cannot operate the switch or pickup keys, can anyone shed some light on my problem? EDIT: it seems I was trying to get the keys/open the door with the wrong key
