Forest Editor Selection....

Ok so my issue is this. I put down a load of different foliage sets usuing the Forest Editing tool, I've painted a nice little forest and then put some bushes and shrubs here and there. I want to move a group of bushes I have placed down, I can select them individually but when I drag and try to select say 5 of them it selects the whole forest, tress, shrubs, grass everything. Is there a way to select small groups of a forest?
