genericButton and objectOverlay

by Zilla · in iTorque 2D · 04/27/2010 (5:53 am) · 4 replies

I was playing around with some other engines and came back for another project with iTGB :)

Wow! 1.3.1 is here :)

I was trying to create a simple scene with the genericButton and the objectOverlay behaviors.

Now I have some strange (new) issues:

the genericButton behaviour will not display any static sprites (that ARE visible elsewhere on the scene).

objectOverlay behaviour will DELETE the image of an scene object in the editor.

Does anybody have the same errors?

Hmmm... Can't solve this...

Can someone help me and try if the genericButton behavior works o.k. in iTGB 1.3.1.?

Getting closer...
When I open BehaviorShooterComponents I can add graphics and play around with behaviors and everything works fine :)

But when I create a new project and add an new image map to the editor, it won't even show up when I run the game. I can add behaviors to an object but they do not work... The same behaviors and graphics worked fine in the BehaviorShooter...

Any ideas anyone?

Zilla, and others. I really really want to be nice here -

Read the supplied documentation in the Documentation/iPhone Docs/

I think ill start linking to a rickroll everytime instead. :D
Ok, but seriously. Its really getting old having to link to those. Read the release thread more than once if you have to. ;)

@Sven

Sorry... I RTF manual, the forums and the docs over and over and it seems that I solved the problem...

iTGB was really acting weird and I think it was because there were still some old versions of the editor in the applications folder from former projects...

Again, sorry for driving you crazy, and thank you very much for your help and support for this community :)))
