They did say their target date was at the end of April so with any luck it will happen in the next few weeks.

As with the volcano issue, the development has been stopped, along with T2D progress....(joke)

It would be kind of cool, if we could know when this will be released (aproximately).., actual business's depend on this.

any business that actually depends on a patch that is designed to keep us quiet for a while over the fact that theyve moved the devs over to iJunk and the X range and away from T2D probably has some slightly larger issues.
Most of the bugs fixed for the 1.7.5 patch are probably already fixed by community members here anyway.
Software Release dates are generally set by companies who dont understand that Customers of that software company are generally 2 faced and in general will; on release date +1 state that :-
A) company sucks for not releasing product on release day
B) company sucks for releasing a shity product on release day because they fear response A
Neither of which is acceptable unless you are EA games and dont actually care about customers or developers or any ethical considerations at all. :)

ohh ok ok, I thought that If I bought the TD2 1.8 that is available at the garagegames page for $128 I could get the level editor, is it not true?

Legacy TGB: Paid license, some restrictions. Has editors. Deploys to Windows and OS X.No longer supported, but you can still purchase it.
Legacy iT2D: Paid license, some restrictions. Has editors. Deploys to iOS. No longer supported, but you can still purchase it.
Torque 2D MIT: Open source MIT license, no restrictions. No editors. Deploys to Windows, OS X, iOS, and Android. Community supported, no cost. In general, offers more features and better performance than the legacy engines.
None of the engines work together. Games and levels you create with the legacy engines will not work with T2D MIT, which is the newer 2D engine.
