Create, Sort, Physit, Done!
What is Physit! ?
- Physit! is a powertool for 3dsMax that automates PhysX Object setup, processing and exporting.
If you have 3dsmax2008/or/2009 and work in PhysX with T3D...you won't be able to live without Physit!
(I am looking into supporting 3ds2010 and eventually 2011, this shouldn't be a problem)
This video is a showing of the breakable object panel of Physit!.
In the video..I create shapes, illustrate the process and show you the produced model in game....all in 2.25 minutes!
Joint work:
Chains from Physit!'s joint easy-fier!

..ya know,I was thinking..this video makes this process look easy, but I am sure anyone who has tried physX exporting knows that there are many many quirks that cause headaches;
naming conventions, spaces in the user property setting, certain collada exporters fail to work with it altogether..well, let's just say it's a frickin' long line of nonsensical headaches that you can surpass by using this tool. Not to mention the savings on work time.
Mini-teapots and nice-shots ftw!

players and vehicles?..we'll see how that can be done as we move along. If T3D doesn't support it by default or with a package add on, I won't be adding the feature to Physit!...ya know,I was thinking..this video makes this process look easy, but I am sure anyone who has tried physX exporting knows that there are many many quirks that cause headaches;

This looks amazing ! I know a way also that you would be able to actually create some form of realistic shards to fly from it by using a tool I like called rayfire for 3ds max, www.mirvadim.com/ You can within this plugin bake the procedural animation I would love to try your tool out on some recent torque assets that I have created :) when will you release ??

- I have nearly everything working in solid form...I have a few more things to accomplish and then I would like to write some brief docs.
Which means soon-ish. You can keep an eye on this thread to be notified. thx

I feel like a jerk for saying this but I am going to need another hour or two to complete this package and I am beyond tired right now. Tomorrow(Friday) is the day for release. I did not realize how much work I had ahead of me with videos, docs, licenses, website ..etc etc.Thx for the patience!
