How to implement animations???

Hi,

I am having some troubles getting animations to work in torque 2D. I created a 3D model and have imported it in to torque successfully. Also I have some animations for the model created in 3DS Max 9 that i have converted into .dsq file format. Now im trying to figure out how do i make the animation run when i make the character move forward? Do i have to turn it in to a sprite or do i reference the file with torsion some how? Any examples such as code, screen shots or other would be really helpful. I have already tried reading threw many many forums and can not seem to find any kinds of answers. I keep seeing people with similar problems but I don't see any concrete answers.

Also a separate question I have is i have my model moving at the moment but for some reason when i use the flip.y command to make the model turn when moving left to right he wont turn. Im not sure if its because the model is in 3D or not. I imported one of the fish demo models to see if it would work with that and it did, so not sure if anyone has any suggestions??

Thanks in advance for all the help. Trying to get this working for a school project.
