Important feature: TGEA Advanced vs. Torque 3D

I can't seem to find an answer in FAQs or in the forums for this question. Since Torque 3D added that nice Collada importer, has that support also been added to TGEA? Or possibly through an add-on, standalone utility?
I bought TGEA last year, was overall pretty happy with it except for the lack of support for popular 3D model formats. Never found a stable .DTS converter (tried Blender, Milkshape, TrueSpace) so my large library of .DAE, .X, and .3DS models sat on the back shelf gathering dust :-(
Torque 3D is core dumping regularly on my iMac, where TGEA has been rock-solid stable. Otherwise, it would've been worth it to me to fork over the $100 for a binary-only copy.

Torque 3D is still in it's early stages of developement and mac support lags behind the windows version. (not enough mac programmers at GG?)
Given time, T3D will top tgea by leaps and bounds.
