Blender DTS Exporter help

So when I downloaded the exported and clicked on the install script and it says it sucessfully copied the files, so I go into blender and the exporter isnt there, so when I try to install it manually tutorials online say to copy all the files and put them in the script folder in c:/Program Files/Blender Foundation/Blender, well i get to the Blender files and there's no script folder in there so i'm kinda stumped on how to install the exporter, I have Blender 2.49, Python 2.6.2 and Torque DTS Expoter 0.97.

I down graded it to what you have now and the dts exporter shows up, but when ever i try to import something or export to dts it says "python script error: check consle". I tried re installing Python 2.5.1 and that didnt work.

Protip: Use the example.BLEND which comes with the exporter as a template.

Yeah I get that occaissonally, seems to be an error with opening the last directory used when there hasn't been one.Protip: Use the example.BLEND which comes with the exporter as a template.

I have the .97 beta 3 version of the dts exporter working in Blender 2.49b (with Python 2.6.2). The correct folder path for manually installing it is --> c:/Program Files/Blender Foundation/Blender/.blender/scripts.

I am using the same configuration than Kerry, and so far everything works fine.

I'm reinstalling Blender 2.49b +py 2.6.2
any way to install the exporter scrips without loosing all the other export options?
i ran the WindowsInstallScript.js and i lost all the other export options.
How do i get DTS on the list With the other ones?

Think I read that somwhere around here sometime - don't think brain is making it up ... but hey, it get gets bombarded with so much passing info who can tell these days!
2.48 is compatible 'cos I used to use that, but I rolled back to 2.44, Python 2.5.1 and exporter 0.964 (didn't like the new animation method in Blender 2.48).
