Starting a new Project

Hi, and happy new year to everybody.

I need to start a new important project in the next days ...
It is a "medieval" FPS ...
I need to choose the right garagegames engine (I need to choose beetwen T3D and TGEA 1.8.2), and I need your help to get the right choose.

-- the MAC OS is my main develop environment but if necessary I can develop also on windows;
-- I've seen that all (or almost) packs run only on windows (for example the AI starter kit ....);
-- T3D on MAC seems to have still some problems ... and there is not a 1.1 alpha version ...
-- lots of the arts pack I have purchased during the last year are not totally compatible with T3D ...

BUT I'd like to develop on a "state-of-the-art" engine ... since I have to develop for months ....

Thank you for all consideration .... I need to choose and I don't know how to decide

thank you

P.S. : do you know when can we have a Mac T3D 1.1 version ???

Personally, I would go with T3D as the tools in it make it a no brainer over TGEA for me. I've never developed on a Mac before though.

I would say go for T3D. For the art packs, there must be a way to get them in torque 3d. Torque 3d is just so much better and easy to work with.

If the art packs are using dts models, they should work. (unless they were made during the stone age) if they are dif models and you have the .map files for them, you can use Deled or another poly modeling program that will import .map files to convert them to dts or collada, and they will still work.
